Ahmed ALGhanem was born in Barbar, Bahrain in 1970. He studied in Cairo Conservatory from 1988-1996 and has performed numerous recitals in Bahrain and abroad, notably alongside UNESCO in Havana and Cuba. Ahmed has also attended Flute courses in London and appeared with Musicians such as Marcel Khalife and Wissam Boustany in Bahrain, Cairo and Switzerland.
In 2004 he became a member of the Bahrain International Music Festival and in 2005 became the Coordinator of this Festival. Ahmed was music teacher at a Bahrain School for 10 years and after became a Head of the Music Department in the Directorate of Art and Culture for Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities (Ministry of Culture) from(2005-2018).
In November 2016 Ahmed toured in Norway at the invitation of Freemuse, where he participated in music workshops with various musicians and performed in cultural and historical venues including Tromso Cathedral.(Tromsø domkirke).
